Common key faults we fix
- Snapped or cracked key shell
- Worn or split rubber buttons
- Flip blade won't flip (broken spring or pin)
- Remote stopped working after a battery change
- Water damage or corroded board
- Blade snapped in the lock or ignition (we'll extract it)
Repair or replace?
If the electronics are healthy, we move your original chip and board into a new case, so nothing needs reprogramming. If the remote itself has failed, we'll tell you straight whether a repair or a new remote is better value.

Questions people ask
Is it worth repairing a car key?
Often yes. A new shell or switch costs far less than a new programmed key, and your key keeps working exactly as before.
Can you fix a water-damaged key?
Many can be cleaned and repaired. If the board is too far gone, we'll program a replacement.
