What happens when you call
- Quick details. Reg, make/model, where the car is and whether it has remote or keyless locking.
- Proof of ownership. V5C and photo ID. Non-negotiable for all-keys-lost.
- Non-destructive entry. We open the car with specialist tools, no smashed windows, no drilled locks.
- Cut and program. We decode the lock, cut a key, read the immobiliser data and program the new key (and remote).
- Lost key deleted. Where the car allows, the lost key is removed from memory so it can no longer start the car.
How much does it cost?
All Keys Lost jobs start from £180. The final price depends on the car, because a 2008 Fiesta is a very different job to a 2021 Range Rover. Call or send a quote request with the reg and you'll get a fixed price before we set off. Time of day, location and the vehicle itself can affect pricing and availability. Spare keys start from £60, so keeping a spare is always the cheaper route.
Lost key deactivation
Worried someone has your old key? We can deactivate lost keys on most cars, so even if it turns up in the wrong hands it won't start the engine.
