smart questions
My smart fortwo has water in the passenger footwell and now won't work. Can you help?
The SAM module on fortwo 450 and 451 models sits low and is prone to water damage. It can often be repaired or replaced and coded once the leak is fixed. Contact AutoECU and we'll take a look.
My smart gearbox is jerky or won't select gear. Is it expensive?
Often it needs clutch adaptation or an actuator fault sorting rather than a new gearbox. Proper diagnostics will tell us which. Get in touch with AutoECU to book in.
Can you make a spare smart key?
For most fortwo and forfour models, yes, including repairs to cracked 451 keys. The newer #1 and #3 are checked case by case. Send AutoECU your registration.
