Porsche car keys, coding & electronics

Flat-six soundtrack, precision engineering, and a key shaped like the car

About Porsche

Porsche spent decades perfecting the 911 and then cleverly sprinkled that magic over SUVs, saloons and EVs. They're brilliant to drive and beautifully built, though a tired battery can leave a very fast car feeling very stationary.

AutoECU helps Porsche owners with spare and lost keys, key fob repairs, module coding and retrofits, diagnostics and ECU work, with performance tuning handled by our partner tuners.

Porsche models & platform codes

UK-market models we commonly work on, with years and the manufacturer's platform / chassis codes. Can't see yours? Ask us, the list isn't exhaustive.

Porsche questions

Can you make a spare key for my Porsche?

For many models, yes, from the 996 and Boxster to the 991 and Macan. Newer cars have tighter security and options vary, so it's best to check first. Send AutoECU your registration and we'll confirm.

My Porsche won't start after sitting for a while. Is it the key?

It could be a flat key battery, a low car battery confusing the modules, or an ignition or immobiliser fault. Proper diagnostics will tell us which. Get in touch with AutoECU and we'll help you find out.

Can you add CarPlay or a reversing camera to my Porsche?

Depending on your PCM version and model, CarPlay activation and camera or towbar retrofits are often possible with the right coding. Message AutoECU with your car details and we'll advise.

Need something done on your Porsche?

We'll fill in the make for you. Just add your reg and what's wrong.
