Folding blade with remote buttons; blades and buttons wear and can be repaired.

Slot-in key with optional Keyless Drive; a classic sign of trouble is 'Insert key' messages.

Volvo questions
Can you programme a spare Volvo key without a dealer visit?
For most Volvo models, yes, including P2, P3, SPA and CMA cars. Newer models may need extra steps, but it's usually possible. Call AutoECU with your registration and we'll confirm.
Why does my Volvo say 'Key not found' or won't start?
Common causes include a flat key battery, a faulty keyless antenna, or an electronic steering lock or CEM fault on older P3 cars. Trying the spare key helps narrow it down. AutoECU can diagnose it properly.
Can you activate a towbar on my Volvo XC60 or XC90?
Yes, after a towbar is fitted the trailer module usually needs software activation so lights and trailer stability work properly. We can code it for you. Get in touch with AutoECU.
